Students that attended beta conference

Eight members of the Joaquin High School Beta Club attended the National BETA Convention in Louisville, Kentucky from June 16-20. Six members placed at the state convention in January and advanced to compete at the national level in academic and visual arts contests. Those competing at the national level were Tristen Groeling in Digital Art, Karson Rogers in Mathematics, Lucas Evans in Language Arts, Randi Chambliss in Jewelry, Mariel Luna in Spanish and Kannon Rogers in Digital Arts. Randi won 5th place with her original necklace and bracelet creation. While in Louisville, the students attended the convention and enjoyed some sightseeing which included the Louisville Slugger Museum, walking the Big Four Bridge from Kentucky to Indiana, and the Kentucky Kingdom Amusement Park. Congratulations Randi and the other BETAs who competed at nationals!
